Great news in parts

We were pretty sure someone pumped gas out of the truck. This not only solved this problem, but also found an additional benefit in the form of increased gas consumption. Win, win!

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Keeps the fuel filler neck clean

Great for keeping the fuel filler neck clean. No more beacons! I took another reviewer's advice and added a 1 1/2" o-ring as a spacer and it works great.

Pros
  • Great Prize
Cons
  • Nothing

Does not fix fuel inlet even with o-ring

Keeps dirt out but does not fix the fuel tank inlet engine check gauge even with the o-ring installed. I cleaned up my code and it came back a day later.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • disappears

Correct Gas Key Lock

Just thought I would add reviews to buy on your 2010 Ford Flex models. It fits perfectly. I thought I'd let you know as I hate buying things and never try them on. yes it fits

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Mostly Good But...

It works! for parts

I recently bought a used Ford and was shocked at the lack of a fuel cap. Luckily I'm not a visionary like Ford who thinks nobody will ever screw up a car without a gas tank. hard times find out my ford has no cover. It works great. I couldn't be happier

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Broadly ok but...

Solved Check Engine Code

I have a 2012 Ford Escape with a filler hole with no cap. The code said I had a leak in the filler hole. Did a smoke test and found no leaks. After doing a little research, I found that Ford has solved this problem THEY CREATED! That gas cap worked. There is no more warning code. I also recommend purchasing a 1 1/2 inch ID 1/8 inch thick (0.85 cents) o-ring to ensure a good seal. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Pros
  • Handy Thing
Cons
  • Some Trouble

Perfect fit for my 2014 Mustang GT. Safe protection.

I was shocked to find that the gas cap is almost gone. Dirt, dust and moisture WILL get into the "capless" system simply because the hole is still there! The cap now covers the opening to remove dust and/or water that may have entered through the outer fuel filler flap. It doesn't matter if it closes or not, it just has to be a cap! Come on, not even one manufacturer's fault, they're all brain dead to develop something like this!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear

Excellent attachment coverage and even better with an elastic band.

Ideal for 2013 Ford Flex Limited and 2012 F150. I wasn't sure if the throttle flap provided the proper seal to avoid the 'Check Engine' light and emissions system error code, and while this 'plug' is supposed to fit, I went to the hardware store and got one "O-ring" that slides over the inserted plug and acts as an airtight seal between the plug and the filler hole. Absolutely works as it requires a slight pressure when turning the key to the lock and unlock position. I think a 1-1/2" o-ring…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
