Fan Dam® Ceiling Spoiler Increased Airflow Review

The product is very easy to install but it didn't work as advertised, it stressed the fan blades and slowed them down significantly. I will return the product and hope for a refund.

Great installation guide. USA materials will be very strong. Installed on a 52" fan in the family room and really moves the air at low speeds. Will definitely be ordering another set for my large bathroom fan. Very happy with this invention!

Such a wonderful and smart product! We bought a Fan-Dam to mount our patio fan and it works really well. It cools us down on those warm Florida nights. Highly recommended if you want to power up your fan without installing a new one.

I recently came across this product and decided to try it! I have installed them on fans in my living room, office and bedroom and really appreciated the noticeable increase in airflow. Not only does this ensure adequate airflow and ventilation in each room, but I also noticed that I turned up my thermostat. up to 2-3 degrees throughout the home and maintain the same cool environment - that says a lot since I live in Orlando, Florida. You haven't increased the airflow at all. It actually kind of reduced my airflow. The fan used to perform well and spread the sound throughout the room. With the fan dam I actually managed to slow down my fan and only get the wind out in the areas directly under the fan. Let's not forget that if you even try to remove them, they will peel the coating right off your fan blades. You actually ruined a perfectly good fan. So I paid for this product and ruined the $250 fan.
