Fancasee Universal FM Antenna with Magnetic Base: 75 Ohm, Premium Quality Review

I was hoping for better reception with my vintage receiver via a dipole wire antenna and it worked. Just had to add an adapter for my 300 ohm connection. Works perfectly. Not too big and just the right size.

Bought this radio antenna for my workshop. I could only get 3 channels before I bought this and now I can get over 20! I like the magnet so I can hang it on a metal roof. I liked it so much I bought 2 more for the house. Definitely recommend!

This replaced the ugly plastic FM loop that ran along the living wall. I mounted it on a stand behind the TV. And even hidden in the middle of the first floor, it has significantly improved the reception quality in my vintage receiver. The FM quality of my favorite local FM station is better than the internet stream and I'm saving bandwidth.

It arrived in flimsy packaging but none of the contents were damaged. I hooked it up to a stereo FM tuner in the garage. I simply glued a magnetic base to one of the metal stand's legs to keep the antenna horizontal. Most stations work great even with the garage door closed. What can I say, it works very well.

The antenna works well when installed outside but not so well when used indoors. The only downside I see is the wired plug. It would be better if we could connect our own coaxial cable directly to the base. This would make it possible to tune the antenna to the radio range. Our radio is in the basement and we need a longer link to get the antenna out so we had to hook it up to regular coax cable to cover the distance it takes to get the antenna out.

Buy 2 of these antennas and use an outdoor 2-way coax splitter to connect any length of coax from your receiver to the outside, or use a 2-way coax Indoor splitter directly in the window and then run the included cable as high as possible outside the window for best results. Need an antenna to pick up FM stations within about 50 miles. Thanks to the magnetic base, the antenna adheres well to the steel cladding of our building. What I like about this antenna?1. Works well in mountainous terrain even though our radios are within a 10-20 mile radius2. I hooked it up to my 1976 Rotel receiver with no problems3.
