Rusted after one wash in the dishwasher. Very disappointed. I bought it because it is said to be dishwasher safe. No, that is not so.

Handles get very hot, you must use an oven mitt to lift them off the hot pan. Not suitable for small pans, the part hanging over the pan will deteriorate.

Easy to clean and use. Lightweight and durable enough. However, it tends to retain the flavors of the food you're preparing. Mine smells like bacon, which is good for me. I don't cook on high heat, but medium heat doesn't melt it.

My previous splash guard lasted many years. I know and trust the Farberware name and thought as it has a charcoal filter this would be an improvement over my previous one. This started to peel off the edge shortly after receipt. Now, 4 months later, the condition is getting worse.

I use the fender about once a month. I put them in the dishwasher to clean. The bottom strainer literally started falling apart in the middle and spilling pieces of the strainer onto my food. Wouldn't recommend this manufacturer and wouldn't buy again.

Nothing prevents or eliminates odors when frying, but this works very well and minimizes splatter and mess. The filter offers excellent splash protection. We put it in the dishwasher to clean it as it turned out not to have cleaned very well with multiple coats of hand washing.

I'm not 100% sure what I think about this product. It is a double oil splash guard with a thin layer of odor absorbing mesh. I totally agree with the dual screen. The scent net seemed like a good idea, but it actually traps a lot of steam in the pan. So when I tried to sear the chicken and thighs, the top layer was already starting to cook from the steam and heat being trapped. along with a puddle of water that began to gather.
