LOVE THAT IT IS FOLDABLE

It is great to have a sun hat that is foldable. My previous straw hat is pretty beat up from years of use while gardening. I like that it protects the neck from the sun. This hat was too large for me. My head measures 21 3/4 inches. I failed to notice a velcro strap inside as stated in the questions. However, I hand sewed an inch wide elastic inside of the band after I adjusted it to fit my head. Seems it will work well. Was concerned that the hat might be hot, however it seems to be…

Even cuter than expected

Honestly this hat looks even better in person. The risk of cute straw hats is looking kind of like a grandpa going out to garden (in an affectionate sense, cute and sweet but maybe not the kind of cute one is aiming for) but this looks adorable and perfect for a beach day.

Needs a better adjustment band

Overall I like the hat. It is stylish, lightweight, packable and the wide brim gives good sun protection. I did experience a problem with the interior adjustable sizing band. Once adjusted to my head size I see no way of securing that adjustment. Am I missing something?! For now I will pin it in place with a small safety pin or hand sew it so it stays adjusted to my head size.

Very comfortable - my new review

I'm enjoying using this hat on my walks in the morning. It is very comfortable, fits great and I like that it has UPF50. The hat looks exactly like the picture on the website.

Lovely-but not for long

Very comfortable, with the perfect size brim but it only survived about six boat days. So despite the cord, not a good choice if you are dealing with wind at all.

Fragile easily tear off

I should have listen to what people say about this garbage. It teared off right away at first try. Cheaply poorly made! The hat may not provide enough coverage for individuals with larger heads or facial features!

Beyond angry for my opinion

I am absolutely beyond angry. The second day of my two week European trip, after wearing this hat one day, the brim split from the top. And not just a little bit. The whole back of the hat. Now I have to go out and try to find another hat.Update: I submitted a return request, but I was not getting back until after the due by date. The seller refunded me without the having returned the hat, so I am appreciative of that. The really rotten part of this whole thing is that I loved that hat — it fit

Love it, not for small heads

I like this hat a lot, it’s classy. The brim flips up and stays up in the back so it’s not rubbing on your upper back when you wear it. It’s a bit heavier than a ballcap, so when I wanted to let it hang back off my head, it pulled the cord too tight on my neck so I’d just take it off and put it away. Lovely hat though, good sun coverage.

Needs a little less straw so air can enter somewhere

Used for myself. Needed hat for pool area. Wonder if it would stay in in high wind.But nice ideas to make smaller for better fit. I thought that there was a pretty outside (partly bow like) area in hat to pull and secure with Velcro. Inside only . Overall: 9

Love this hat! good for me

Perfect for my African Safari. Brim is not too large, and it is adjustable on the inside for smaller heads. Good quality overall for the price!

Ripped apart, not worth the money.

Although a very cute hat, I’ve only worn it a few times and the brim separated from the hat. I sewed it to extend its life through the summer but the next time I wore it, the rest of the hat separated at the brim andI ended up throwing it away. So disappointing since it was such a cute hat!
