"Hand wash recommended " - actually required

I bought a pair of these cans to add to my collection of Fat Daddio cans and have noticed two issues. My cakes turned out amazing but the molds were a mess so I washed them in the dishwasher and the molds were ruined. It should be noted that hand washing is required, not just recommended. I also have an issue with the overall capacity and the slant of the sides. I found these molds too small for my cake recipe. I will be buying a few more cans to replace these but will try a different brand.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Low repairability

9 Inch Pie Pan - Pie, Tart & Custard Pans

I bought this pan because its surface is not acid responsive and is not prone to surface cuts like a nonstick coating. This pan conducts heat well and you don't have to worry about sudden temperature changes like with tempered glass pans. The pie dough will be a little sticky, but it's not critical. Adhering parts can be easily washed off with a little soaking. I love how deep the pan is and the 8.5 inch interior is actually a plus for ensuring there is always plenty of overhang. My first…

The Easiest, Most Durable Baking Sheet You'll Pass On To Your Kids

These Fat Daddios Baking Sheets Are The Absolute Best! They're lightweight as they're made from anodized aluminum, which means they're coated to keep the aluminum out of the food during the baking process, if that's a concern for you. They're virtually non-stick, they're easy to hand wash, hot water and Dawn dish soap will suffice. They bake evenly due to aluminum's thermal conductivity. This aluminum doesn't warp easily and is reinforced at the edges with a nice double stripe border. This cake

NOT a real 6 inch pan

Let me start by saying that I LOVE this pan. Excellent quality. It is very thick, durable and easy to use. I will use them often (I bought 6). Now I'll tell you the other side. This pan measures just under 5 inches of usable space at the top of the inside of the cake pan. Manufacturers expect a very wide outer edge to achieve a 6-inch size. I also bought small cake pans and they are made the same way. sooo IF you know that and don't mind the pan being about an inch or more smaller in the usable

Instant Favorite

I bought one of these pans after reading a review/recommendation of Fat Daddio products on a reputable place - I'm pretty sure it's one of the major newspaper websites . I've always used glass cake pans because I've always had that and my cakes have been random over the years and the article I read went specifically about how and why glass is not recommended for baking cakes. Anyway, I ordered this cake pan and it's great. It's firm but not heavy, and the 10-inch size is a great option for…

POOR DESIGN AND WRONG SIZE

First of all, this company, Fat Daddio's, tends to make top quality bakeware. I have many of these and would buy other items in a heartbeat, but this pan is disappointing. The shape is not like a regular pie pan. In my opinion it doesn't curve enough on the sides to be considered a cake pan. It looks more like a cake pan and is straighter on the sides than most cake pans. This size is wrong too. I've included some photos of the top and sides so you can compare it to a regular shaped pie pan…

Pros
  • Useful for more than intended purpose
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Good heat distribution, great weight, looks great and cooks great.

Very nice frying pans. You are more than a portion of cake. More like a cake the size of two MANs. I'm saying this because my husband said no we don't have to share ONE pie, he wanted a whole pie because you know they're small. Well we had leftovers from our TWO cakes for 2 days. Next time he will share for sure. They're deep and cool. That means it's a little harder to put in a pie crust and still get a thin crust. You may find this a positive or a negative depending on how you use it and what

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Sad device

I use these for gluten free pie crusts and they work great! They don't stick at all! I didn't use anything to make them the first time I used them (and was a little apprehensive), but they turned out great! They are EXACTLY 9 inches at the top. I bought 3 more of these because I make LOTS of cakes and I was so happy with them! The inside dimensions of the pan from the top are 4 7/8" X 8 7/8". Bottom external dimensions are 4 3/4" x 8 3/4". The corners are not square but rounded. Pallet number…
