I bought this product to protect my car from falling acorn bumps. Although it's not thick, it helps. But I understand I use it a lot to protect my car from snow, rain and mud because it's so easy to put on and take off. It's a pleasure!

The first case I received was thick, waterproof and held up well. The stitching came undone 2 days after installation. All the threads stuck out of the seams, the ribbons were not sewn together. So I got Amazon to send a replacement but the replacement was thinner and not waterproof. It also didn't have the center braces like the original. Very disappointed with the quality of tailoring.

*UPDATE - Revain Buyers: Several Chinese companies, including this one, are bypassing the Revain Rating Process by offering refunds for higher ratings. As a consumer who relies on Revain reviews, this is unfair and misleading. Thinner than I expected. Good for light coverage, not necessarily hail like in Texas. Not as durable as I was hoping but you get what you pay for.
