The first card had a USB-C port that was 1/10th the speed of USB 3 Gen1 ports. 2. Do not buy card DOA.

I returned the card and they sent me a card that USB C or USB 3 Gen1 didn't work at all. Do not buy! The company knows that all of these cards are defective and resells them. I have bought another brand and feel that continuing to work with these people is a waste of time. I will accept the loss and see it as a learning experience. 2 bad cards in a row 1 works except for the USB-C ports which are 1/10th the rated speed and the other doesn't work on arrival, that's a statistical possibility.

Fits Quest Link

The main reason I bought it was to use with Quest Link on my Quest 2. With my USB ports on my motherboard, the Quest kept disconnecting after a few minutes and after researching I found that it was due to low current with normal ports from the motherboard. Upon further investigation, I found that my motherboard ports only draw 870mA. While I was nowhere near the advertised speeds or current, this card solved my Quest's shutdown issue. No better than the USB-C ports on my motherboard

I was hoping this would provide 5V/3A to charge my Oculus Quest 2 while gaming but the max current that It put out was about 1.47A. Not enough to charge the Quest 2 while gaming, so it's no better than the USB-C port on my motherboard.

The card is relatively easy to install, depending on the system. In our case, it installed quite well for a Windows 10 system (the moment the PC booted into Windows, it was ready to use). I bought this on behalf of a customer who for some reason lost all USB ports on their motherboard. Since this is a high-end system, it didn't make sense to install older USB ports like 3.0. I've only tested it with a mouse and keyboard, so I can't speak at rated speed. But he did the job well and relatively easily.
