For Model 3 Tesla Cam Connector - Not for Apple IOS devices

NOTE: This cable will not charge Apple IOS devices. Works well with Android. This USB port is for setting up the Tesla Model 3 dashcam for system update to version 9. Works well to allow camera recording while still charging the cellphone. You need a flash drive to complete setup. Recommend.

Great Computers and Accessories

I use this cable to split the USB 3.0 data port on the back of the monitor, connecting the 3.0 input to a 4-port USB 3.0 hub and the USB power input to a connect to an LED. a strip that I mounted as a border around the back of my monitor. With this cable I was able to significantly reduce the number of cables.

No problem Electronics

Works great so far. I bought it to connect a USB hub to my Fire TV Stick because my hub didn't have a power adapter. It was the cheapest cable of its kind I could find, it was 3.0. Now I can use keyboard and mouse and watch videos from external drive (flash drives and micro SD with adapter)!

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works exactly as I hoped it would

Android Auto in my car was charging my phone too slowly. (My phone was dead by the time). I used it to connect to Android Auto and the other end to my car phone charger. Now my phone actually charges when I use Android Auto! It doesn't matter for short trips, but it makes a big difference for long-haul trips.

Charging works fine

1 side should read data into the receiver but does not read as before. load both sides. NOTE: I don't have an iPhone, I'm using Android. To be honest that's fine as long as both sides are charging because I can just use Bluetooth to connect to the receiver. However, as it claims to be able to use data on a side when it isn't unless mine was defective, it's not a good description of what this cable is.

It worked for a while but the loading page stopped working

I've had it for about 9 months and it was working great when I bought it. The cable sits in my Model 3 and never moves and is rarely touched. It used to charge my Android normally but not anymore. I've since changed phones - same model just got a refurbishment with a new battery and it won't charge with this cable either. I really wish someone could make one that charges correctly for both Android and iPhone.
