Not as long as OEM

Original OEM kept 4 months of continuous use in winter. One of these filters lasted a month. In addition, the standard filter can increase the humidity up to 35%, and this barely reaches 20%. This filter is about 1/4 thinner than the OEM but still fits. Saving is absolutely not worth it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It doesn't absorb as well as it should.

This filter will work and be the same size as the OEM MAF2 filters but will not admit moisture. Typically, my humidifier can hold 45% of the air in my room and only runs intermittently. With this filter he worked continuously and could not reach 40%. To make sure it was the filter I switched back to the aircare MAF2 and brought the room back up to 45% in between with no issues. Definitely not worth the marginal savings. I never had to buy 4 packs.

Works as expected

I've seen several reviews complaining about moisture wicking and other seemingly stupid things. But I bought them anyway, and it turned out that they are completely wrong. These absorbing filters have been working great for over a month now. I haven't seen any unusual problems, they haven't broken, lost shape or caused any problems. Your water is constantly contaminated to the very top. Basically, don't doubt the decision, just pull the trigger and you'll be happy. Hope this helps 👍

Will not fit humidifier parts and accessories

I ordered these instead after running out of stock of OEM absorption filters (Aircare MAF2). They seem the same, but they just don't work. I live in the desert in the southwest. The humidifier (Aircare MA0800) runs almost constantly to humidify our music room. I was able to ride the OEM filter for about 2 months before it was replaced. With these filters I get 2 to 3 weeks! The problem is that they just stop absorbing water. The problem becomes apparent when the humidifier fan spins up at high…

  • Rugged construction

Most absorbent Aircare humidifier filters I've found yet

I've tried different filters on one of my AirCare whole house humidifiers and these seem to work the best. I have a problem with many filters sucking up water inefficiently and so the humidifier takes forever if it works at all. I've also had many issues with filters not working for over a week or two. These fat filters were the best. I live in a hard water area so the life of my filters is almost halved compared to programming the humidifier. Basically, I have to change the filters every two…
