I've only had this product for 7 months and it suddenly stopped working. My latest FHI iron did the same. This product should last at least a year or more, a lifetime if you ask me. I will not purchase another FHI product.

This iron is amazing! I love that the hair gets so sleek, smooth and soft with just one swipe. I recently bought an FHI hair dryer and wanted an iron that had a simple yet elegant look. I like that it doesn't take long to warm up as I'm always in a hurry and I don't have to keep ironing my hair. It also doesn't dry out my hair, which is nice. Great straightener. I love the design and it feels really good in my hands. The plates will heat the hair but not burn it and this works very well on natural African American hair. Whenever I can use a flat iron on a 4C hair texture, this is a keeper for me!
