This 'silk pack' is not at all as advertised. The box is very small, which is included in the kit, and the film itself does not become translucent when applying glue to the surface. Even after applying 3 coats of gel-resin with an activator spray over it, the foil didn't become transparent and when filing with a nail file it just frayed and came off the nail even after sticking. The glue doesn't suit me at all, hence the 2 stars. Nevertheless I gave 4 stars. Why? I don't have a nail on my big toe. When using the fiberglass silk sheeting, I pull out the shape of the nail, trim and still peel to reveal the adhesive, although that doesn't work. When I lay it down and use the gel base and UV to dry it becomes hard like acrylic and then I use a hand file to shape it. I probably won't do this since I don't have nails, but it's something that will get me through the summer…

This self adhesive fiberglass silk nail repair is a great product and I have used it on cracked nails and even broken nails until the nail grew back. It's also great for adding extra grip to your nails that are cracked or broken. This product saves my real nails.

Revain's description says 'Fiberglass', it's not fibreglass, it's just silk. The adhesive makes the job easier, but if you get your hands wet it will peel off like any other wet sticker.

I thought it was a self-adhesive film but it's not. I mean it doesn't stick to the nail at all, you have to use glue and then do the rest of the repair. This is useful, but it would be better if it was actually self-adhesive.

This product works great. Really nailed it. I use this on all cracks and my clients last a full 2 weeks before their next visit.

Bought to fix a pair of nails that started breaking at the edges and I have followed what you were supposed to do but used glue because I won't believe that the tape self-adhesive enough to stay in place. After two days it started to fall off. And I used glue BEFORE I put it on top. It shouldn't have gone anywhere. He came over and just got off my nails and took my broken nails with him! so no it doesn't work

I'm sure it's a great product but I've had a hard time getting it to work and cutting myself. If I had someone to do this for me I'm sure it would work great.
