The 35mm slide case was almost impossible to open, parts of the slides were obscured on screen - their color rendition is otherworldly - and the ease of use rivals a Rubik's Dice . got picture?

The 35mm slide compartment was almost impossible to open, the screen obscured parts of the slides - their color reproduction is otherworldly - and the unit's ease of use rivaled that of a Rubik's Cube . got picture?

An easy way to digitize old priceless memories. Doesn't require a computer

How many of you still have 35mm film? My parents do! How about 4"x6" and 5"x7" prints? Yes of course! Going digital took a lot of time: I had to take the prints, glue them onto 8" x 10" sheets, scan them at work, send the resulting PDF home and edit/crop with Photoshop. Scanning film was not an option because I didn't have the equipment, so I started looking for a digitizer that could scan film as well as prints. and 3x5, 4x6 and 5x7 prints - Easy to use - Fairly fast scanning - Can scan anโ€ฆ

Do you have slides? Take it!

I've been watching slide scanners for a long time. I had 6 boxes of 35mm slides from the late 70's and early 80's while touring the Olympic Mountains, Cascades and Mount Adams fairly regularly in Fort Lewis, Washington. When I was sent to Germany, I kept taking photos and ended up with about 1000 shots from both places. I'm not a big photographer, but I like to keep clicking. When I received the device, I started loading the slides onto a memory card I pulled out of my Canon camera. I uploadedโ€ฆ

Restoring Memories

If you're over 30 years old, you probably understand what I'm talking about. You have a box full of pictures that you or your parents took when you were younger. You know, before everything went digital. Sometimes the photos survived, but more often than not they were in an album that had sat too long and was beginning to fade.
