I bought this detergent to wash silk pillowcases and silk shirts because Woolite doesn't rinse out and the Dryel smell was too strong. Hand wash with this product quickly cleaned and rinsed well which keeps my items (which I air dry in the shade) soft and supple. The smell of grapefruit is faintly perceived when washing hands, after drying it is no longer audible. This is a lightly scented leave-in cleaner that cleans well and doesn't leave a strong odor. It was sent in a soft plastic envelope and the product itself was enclosed in a protective plastic bag I think to protect against leakage. The bottle cap leaked into the plastic bag so I lost a small amount of liquid and after that I had to rinse and wipe the sticky bottle.
