Safety first when it comes to fire safety

Bought for my son and family. They wanted to go to the cinema during COVID-19. Additional protection when the engine is running.

Pros
  • Battery operated, works almost anywhere
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Mounting holes covered

Although the model numbers are the same, the distance between the mounting holes is different on the new model. I specifically ordered the same model so as not to drill another hole in the wall.

Pros
  • Carbon monoxide warning
Cons
  • Negative impression

No mounting holes

Although the model numbers are the same, the newer model has a different mounting hole spacing. I specifically ordered the same model so as not to drill another hole in the wall.

Pros
  • Battery works almost everywhere
Cons
  • Some minor things

Lasts about 6-7 years then starts beeping to replace unit

We had the same unit before and had to replace both after 6-7 years. because they started beeping (not a battery change signal, but they sound the same). We had two and when we replaced them one lasted just over a month before we had to replace the battery that came with the unit. Having never had a carbon monoxide leak I don't know if it would actually work on one - I would hope so.

Pros
  • Loud 85dB alarm when carbon monoxide rises
Cons
  • Something else
