    FITS NV501 Best in Vacuums and Floor Care

    Contrary to what some reviewers say, the Shark NV501 Roller Brush CAN BE REPLACED. You need to know how to use common sense and a screwdriver. It takes less than 30 minutes to change the brush and belt and get a working sweeper.

    Be very careful! Fits vacuum cleaner parts and accessories

    This was a $99 replacement nozzle for the Shark Navigator. It was the wrong part, but Jerry's husband got it working. $17 vs. $99. Funny they take so much just because the brushes wear out on the roller. They say there is no other way!

    Not suitable for NV750W. 1/2 inch is too short and other stock.

    I bought this for my NV750W thinking I could make it work, but it's 1/2 inch shorter and uses different bearings and a through metal shaft. It fits on my other device so I keep it as a backup.

    YUP! Fits perfectly and SAVE MONEY!

    Fits Shark NV585, although Shark Support said NO, we don't just sell you the brush roll. You have to buy the entire electric brush module for $130. I said BITE ME and took a chance. With a screwdriver with a protective cap, the replacement took about 15 minutes AND FITS PERFECTLY! Spread the word and don't spend money by buying parts direct from Shark.

    Advice on removing cover to install part

    Received next day! Bought to replace the brushes on my Shark Professional. After the replacement, the vacuum cleaner now penetrates deeper into the pile and picks up dirt and pet hair. The biggest hurdle was removing the lid to get at the brush and belt. After some struggling and removing the obvious screws I finally went to YouTube where I found that the tiny wheels on the front and bottom of the cover had to be removed to access more screws.     Fit my NV501 for nozzles and brushes

    The main difference of this brush from the original is that the bearings at the ends are part of the plastic roller and are pressed into the plastic - there is no room for hair bearings . The original bearings are ½" in diameter and these bearings are 7/8" in diameter. The bearings themselves can be the same size, but the metal case is contained within the plastic case.     My wife mentioned that the Shark Rotator is really difficult to vacuum. I've tried it myself and it takes a good boost to move it, whereas it used to be self-propelled. I looked at the underside and checked the internet and decided the roller brush needed replacing.     Perfect replacement for Shark 5 Series

    I bought this for our Shark NV581QR vacuum cleaner. This is a direct replacement for Shark 500 Series units. Shark WILL NOT SELL you this part. They want you to buy their replacement head for $100. To ensure you only buy their parts, Shark has used a security screw to keep the device closed. YOU MUST PURCHASE A SCREWDRIVER WITH A T-20 GUARD TIP TO REPLACE THE MACHINE YOURSELF. I found an eleven size set at Revain for about $10. So count on adding that value to your purchase. Still a lot cheaper
