Unreliable Tool for Brake Maintenance

Based on our own experience, this brake tool failed to deliver its intended purpose. The non-return socket proved to be ineffective in bleeding the clutch system, which resulted in extra work and time consumed. Though the build appears sturdy, the performance doesn't justify its price point..

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Ineffective, Waste of Time

Actually Works: Tools & Equipment

I doubted it would work because I figured if the bleeder screw loosened when you applied the pedal brakes, air would be sucked back into the system from the bleeder threads. . Much to my surprise, that didn't happen and my brakes were stronger than I'd ever remembered. The part you put on the air vent seems to have a good seal. I suspect if you had rusty bleeder plugs you should replace them to avoid leaking this fitting.
