Aozel Threaded American Locking Casters Review

I made a frame to mount my tractor's crusher. Between frame and chopper, they weigh less than 800 pounds. A set of these 5 inch wheels is (supposedly) rated for 1500 lbs. On my concrete basement floor, one of the poles buckled when I tried to move it a second time. No, the brakes have been removed from all wheels. A good quality 1/2 inch bar will flex the way it does. I would never buy them again.

Unlike the last three pairs (various brands) I've bought these are holding up very well. I put them on my 700 lb four wheeler and unlike the last three sets they work very well. It was also the only pair that came pre-lubed. I bought a 4" kit. After a week of use, one of the rollers broke the stem completely in half, breaking the 1/4" threshold. With only 200 pounds on it.

The frame mounting rollers on my tradesman table saw have finally worn out over decades of use. I removed the original Sears Craftsman wheel assembly and replaced it with this wheel set. What a difference moving a table saw from one place to another makes! Parking brakes are ideal for stabilizing a table saw. I had to attach the original stamped sheet metal legs with a 1" corner. I gained about 4 inches in height thanks to these rollers. I am very happy with this reel set.

Nuts supplied with wheels appear to be metric. The wheel bolt conforms to the SAE standard. Attempting to install the nuts provided will damage the threads of the bolt and possibly break the bolt. 3 out of 4 wheels were 1/2-13 and one was 12mm. Also, the nuts at the base of the studs were not the same size on 4 wheels. From other reviews I've read it seems like the seller stocks two different types and just puts whatever is in stock in one box and ships it. Obviously they are aware of this issue as they send you wrenches for all occasions but they were too thick and had to be ground down for use. I installed these 5 inch rollers on a large tool box that weighs about 400 pounds. When installing the boxes, one of the rollers on the bar under the nut broke. I figured this must be some weird 1/2" stem accident. Finally, each caster is rated for a 500-pound load capacity. When I tried to move it, the other pulley broke in the same spot on the bar and the box fell over, hitting me with boxes in the process. I received these reels today and they will work great but here's the problem, 1 actually fits the product as advertised and has a 1/2-13 thread shank the other 3 reels have a 12mm stem so the included hardware only works with one reel and now I have to dig around trying to find 3 nuts that fit the damn things. Ordered 2 sets to replace aging wheels on several woodworking machines. I installed the first set on an old Steel Stand Craftsman puzzle. The wheels are easy to install and I particularly appreciate the full lockout that locks both spin and spin, which also makes installation easier. I added a couple of washers to each roller between the top of the roller and the frame to eliminate any slack that could cause the bars to fold or twist.
