I don't have an earlobe (recessive gene) and have/love fishhook/pendant earrings. These backs prevent the earrings from falling out which happens more often than I would like and unfortunately I lose them because it goes unnoticed at the time. They work great and I keep them in my travel gear for travel purposes. You can't beat the price! This is a great product.

My 7 year old son had pierced ears and was obsessed with playing with his earrings so he kept losing the back end and even the earring itself over time (use with twisted eye ). I got tired of buying many pairs of interchangeable earrings as 9 times out of 10 the backs were lost. That's great. Lots of backups for just a few dollars. And I swear they hold up better than the regular backflip that comes with spikes because he only lost a few of them. Not as much as it used to be. No complaints…

My daughter has screw earrings but for some reason the back is missing a lot more than we expected. We also took out insurance and got a replacement one day, but we have other earrings that we didn't take out insurance for. Instead we chose to cover this in case those nuts are lost because it's a lot cheaper than buying insurance. Luckily, this works just as well as screw nuts! It's quite tight and small, so I think keeping it close to the back of her ear helps. However, it was a bit difficult…
