I bought a Fishman AURA which is battery powered and works great with it. and bought this as it was identified as the correct product, just didn't work and was therefore a waste of money

Yes, it works well, but it's nothing special: a common, common, mild wall wart. I figured that since it's labeled as Fishman professional audio equipment, it would be durable with rubber bumpers and thick cables. No, the power cord is a weak filament and it seems to short out slightly when you kick it on stage. This wall wart has nothing to do with Rat Shack or any other generic wall wart brands. Just make sure you buy a generic with polarity correction and tip/sleeve voltage.

Bought three - tired of draining the battery on stage. The item I received was not the product pictured. The product received does not have a backlight, and the base is larger, but who looks at the power supply while you are on stage - nobody. Five stars because it works.

There were two such times, each lasted 2 gigs and died. I am a successful professional musician. I have since settled on the iSpot 9v which seems to be much more durable. Surprising as I love Fishman boards and pickups but they just don't last long enough for me.

Works as advertised. I messed up a very expensive Fishman Aura Spectrum DI (guitar and violin modeler) with a cheap "X" brand power supply. As a result, I played a few gigs without the Aura while Fishman repaired the damage. The tech's first question was "Did you use a different power supply than the Fishman one?" I bought the recommended Fishman power supply, the Aura is solid and works great. I was trying to save a few bucks and screwed up a $329.95 component. hard lesson

Fishman drains your batteries quickly, must ship with product. , Batteries destroy the environment, very annoying that they do not come with the product.
