I do not recommend distorting the picture

It took a little time to install, I was very afraid that it would break, so it was thin. Finally arrived. Now I wish I had never installed it and just bought an OEM replacement. It's so weak that when I drive now, this connection keeps shaking and distorting the image while you're driving. You don't want to sit there for long seconds trying to figure out what the heck is in your mirror and in your room. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Worked like a charm

My insurance company offered $190 to replace the mirror. I saw it and figured there wouldn't hurt to try it for the price. Worked like a charm, fit like factory and was easy to install, you just have to follow the instructions. My application was a 2007 Ford F-150 XLT, remote control mirror, and the video on the Revain site was actually more helpful than the paper instructions that came with it. Take a minute to examine the back plate of the new part to get an idea of the "peep" points on the…

Great replacement and easy to install

I taped the broken mirror and removed it as shown in the video. The new mirror is up. Some reviewers have mentioned vibration and I see a bit of it, but for the passenger side mirror it's not an issue. The only issue I had (and it's not the product's fault) was a video showing how to tell if you have a heated mirror by looking at the heated symbol on an old mirror. My old F150 mirror didn't have a heated icon, but when I tried to fit a replacement, the old mirror got hot. I would recommend…

  • Appearance

I purchased driver and passenger rearview mirrors for my 2009 Ford F150 STX because of a recent hail storm here in Colorado. Both replaced in 10 minutes. There are clips on the original on the driver's side, which must be removed and put on for replacement. After installation, the passenger turned into a rock that didn't move at all. There is a slight knock on the driver's side. I'll come back to see if adjusting the clamps has any effect in preventing this, but it's not enough to affect…

I saved $399! for body and trim

I was a bit skeptical about this job because it was so cheap compared to what the auto mechanic had told me how much it would cost to fix my broken passenger mirror on my Ford F 2013 repair. -150. He offered me $399 after calling whoever he got the parts from and charging for the labor. He insisted on replacing the entire mirror, not just the glass. He said there was no other way. Decided to give it a try and was satisfied. I swapped it out in two minutes with no tools (the original glass was…

good value, easy to install, safe to drive

I had a 2011 Ford F-150 because it was new. Just a few weeks after I bought it, I hit the passenger mirror and it fell to the ground. The dealer called me hundreds of dollars to replace it. I told them I just need new glass, not a whole new door. I bought a new jar, spent a few hours cleaning the original substrate, and put it back in place. A few months later someone pushed me into the parking lot and I found a broken mirror on the ground. Ordered another glass, spent a few more hours. Repeat…
