When ordering, I used the size as a guide, not the size. My Shih Tzu swims in this jumpsuit and it runs 3 sizes too big. She has hemolytic anemia and has gained weight from high doses of prednisone. The clothes are made of good fabric. I will order more in her size.

I ordered XS and it's more of a small or medium size, luckily they usually fit my little boy and I don't have to return the same amount. However, these jams are the real XS.
