Overall fit and comfort is good. However, the shoes seem a little long, but maybe that's normal with mountain bike shoes as these are my first ones. Holds up very well. I bought specifically for the soul to help stay on the paddles and they work pretty well.

These shoes look sharp and the sole is great for traction on flat pedals. Since they are marketed as "mountain bike shoes" I was hoping they would be more water resistant. They're great for a good dry run, but on rainy, muddy days you can expect your feet to get wet quickly.

I loved cycling in these shoes. Good for minimal walking but definitely not comfortable if you are going to be walking long distances. However, I recommend wearing warmer socks in the fall as the shoes get colder when I ride my bike in them at night with normal socks. Go up a half size to accommodate warm socks.

I read the reviews and ordered a size down and couldn't be happier. They fit snugly, have great arch support and I can feel the difference in traction as I walk. They may not be suitable for wider feet as they already fit quite snugly around me, so bear what I'm thinking. Haven't had a chance to ride in them yet, but they're definitely better than my old shoes. I was expecting them to be suede but it's mainly canvas material but that doesn't really matter to me. Super happy with this purchase.
