Used to inject 1 ounce of PAG oil into my air conditioner.

Used to inject 1 ounce of PAG oil into my air conditioner. It works very well and arrived on time. Please do not need to purchase separate adapters for this to work with your sensors. The properties of the two adapters can be found in one of the previous test reports. That also worked great for my application.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Almost OK

Essential tool at a very good price

A very useful tool when you work on an air conditioner and need to add oil. If your car is R134a, you need to buy 2x R12 to R134a 1x 1/2" ACME female to 1/4" connector 1x 1/2" ACME male to 1/4" connector. Good quality adapters are not cheap, around $20 Follow the instructions, you must have a can of R134a to inject oil or dye into the system.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Some little things

Good quality. best in spare parts

Have used it many times because it's only 2 ounces. capacity, and so far so good, NO LEAK!. The material seems to be of good quality, but I would like a larger capacity, around 4 to 6 ounces. how typically compressor power is needed, so I'll have to do this procedure once. This is good if the compressors you're replacing have side fill ports instead of the top so you don't spill when connecting the hoses. Pleases,.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • small things

Great if you know what you're doing - the instructions aren't very helpful.

This is a great injector once (as others have said) it can be opened. It's locked so tightly that you'll need a large vise or channel locks the first time you open it. It comes with instructions that you can pretty much ignore. You're expected to connect it to the bottom (blue) line of your manifold, which uses 1/4" FFL fittings, but the injector itself has 1/2" ACME fittings and a yellow hose, which allows it is clear that it is designed to match the yellow pressure gauge lines. Fits perfectly

Lots of ridges - Fuel Injection

I had high hopes for this unit because the price was too good. For the money you get a really solid injector tank that looks like a lifetime purchase. The only thing that kills is that out of the box you'll find a lot of burrs and some metal shavings from the manufacturing process where the threads were cut. In an AC system, this will inevitably lead to failure. When these burrs are introduced into the AC system, they block the valve and render the system unusable. Once you've done that, you'll

Didn't live up to expectations but still worked

It worked. It comes with instructions suggesting you connect it to the manifold outlet on the low pressure side. On my distributor (Harbor Freight) I had to connect it to the middle hose because the high and low pressure hoses have smaller fittings for some reason. It still worked fine, I just had to make sure the valve was pointing up during intake and oil/dye injection to get fluids into the manifold. The valve held an airtight seal, which was good for the center tap as I could use this valve
