🔌 FJC 6003 Coupler Manual Review

I was testing a replacement coupler for my service kit. Nobody else had this style. This is the same type that came with the kit.

Works but doesn't feel very good as a valve, which can put too much pressure on the charge port Schrader valves, damaging the springs on those valves and necessitating immediate valve core replacement after service work. When I've worn them out, I buy genuine Robinair clutches.

Had to replace my high pressure hose end piece. This high pressure end works as it should. no complaints. I actually prefer this type of adapter over the quick connect types because the quick connects can leak and there is no other way to stop this than by closing the valve on the manifold. This type of adapter allows the user to close or open the manifold on the Sharder valve itself. With this type of adapter, you can make sure it's properly snapped into place before you open it. Would…
