A strong 25 pound pull magnet set in epoxy secures the tape holder to your work. It has been redesigned with No removable parts and works with most industrial measuring tapes. It is a great little magnetic pocket level and your third hand when doing those difficult measuring jobs while working alone. Will secure the end of your tape while laying out close Tolerance measurements from the end or the center of your material.

Amazing little tool

This little thing is balls. The magnet on it is held snugly and firmly by a plastic coating that easily removes metal shavings and dust. I love it and it's really perfect when you work alone and you attach the blunt end of a tape measure to a pipe and I smile all day.

Excellent purchase!

Now I use this thing all the time. Marking and drawing on the table, disassembling the pipe in a pipe bender, bending the pipe, checking others' marks. Surprisingly strong and holds the tape well on flat surfaces. My only complaint is that I wish the larger magnet was a little stronger to keep spinning when checking transition points. Great product!

A handy tool to always have with you

This is a simple tool I bought to measure vehicle frames and mark custom subframes. I was surprised how strong the magnet is in both horizontal and extreme position. I measured in two different places the first day I got this tool. I have to say that my measurements are much more accurate when measured from a specific point with this tool, rather than "by eye" at the end of my tape measure. Nice anodized finish and level is a nice feature. Small enough to carry in your pocket so it's always on…
