Two stars just because a month and a half was great.

I bought this chair and was initially very happy with it. Very stable, good build quality and fits my 6ft 2in wide shoulders with no problem. HOWEVER, after a few months of use, the ratchet mechanism that held the chair upright completely failed. I didn't use the chair in a "hard" way; I took a few naps in it, but otherwise rarely used the chair in a position that wasn't fully upright. You can now sit in a chair, but leaning against your back must be balanced with your elbows on the armrests…

The cons outweigh the pros

I received mine damaged and am refunding instead of a replacement for 4 reasons1. The chair is not low enough. I'm 5ft 7in and my heels don't touch the ground even if I lean back a little. 2. The footrest is not rigid, it sags dangerously under the weight of my feet. 3. The back does not bend. There's a tension adjustment, so when I let go of the recline lever it wants to go to the horizontal position whenever you want it and then bounce with you when you sit back down, similar to regular…

The coolest chair I've ever had!

Bought during the Amazon sale ($95). If it's still on sale, grab it ASAP before it hits $227 again! Arrived quickly and in a HUGE box, I think the box is about the size of a coffee table. But thankfully it comes almost fully assembled so it's very easy to set up. Just the wheels below, the floor on the seat and then the back on the seat, that's it. Everything is perfectly attached and works great. LOVE soft fabrics! Was looking for a chair/lazy boy hybrid for my home office and after a lot of…

I love it. Heavy chair, not cheap. Fully reclineable.

I have many back problems and fibromyalgia that affects my whole body. I'm always looking for that chair that will help me on my family room computer and serve as a backrest. I find these types of chairs to be more comfortable and provide more support than other living room furniture. i totally love it It's not ideal, I'll probably have a layer of memory foam simply because I'm very sensitive to pressure on any part of my body; However, I think a normal person would find this surprising. This…

Convenient, but problematic

The product itself is solid. Comfortable, durable (the base is metal, not plastic) and good quality overall. I would have given 5 starts if the footrest hadn't been defective. It has a little button that opens the base of the footrest, so it's springy. The problem was that it didn't compress or snap into place, so getting the footrest back under the chair was tiring. You have to hold it compressed (and it has a pretty strong spring) until you flip it and then it pops open again. No matter what…
