My package arrived quickly despite the busy holiday season. The parts of the set appear to be of good quality. I originally wanted to buy it from another online store but found it at a much lower price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase :3

It was great work. It was very difficult, which I like. My only problem is that as soon as I put the stones on the bottom of the globe, the electricity stopped working. After much fiddling to fix it I had to give up. There is little you can do to improve the situation when the components are on the globe. Next time I will make a small box to hold the battery.

Unlike other miniature kits I've made, the instructions are illustrated rather than photos which is a bit frustrating. You also have to cut the roof parts yourself, but this is quite easy to do with the supplied sandpaper and a little patience. Otherwise it's pretty easy, but it's best if you build some simpler sets first!

Was so happy to receive this kit and have instructions in English. I didn't have to send for English and wait for the set to be ready. The set, like all others I have purchased from this company, was well organized and a pleasure to put together. It was an unexpected gift for my roommate. We both saw the movie "Up" and enjoyed it endlessly and it's like a cinema. Instructions were vague. You will have to follow the picture as there are no real step by step instructions to put all the pieces together. I have made some large models and this was my first small model. Without my valuable experience, I might have really struggled with it. Mainly the roof, the rest was basic. Make sure you have good tweezers! I definitely think it's good for more advanced artists or people who don't mind improvisation. I chose not to assemble the lamps, but made sure to check

There were both good and bad things. Yes it's very small which made it trickier but some parts needed sanding to fit together well - for example the roof fascia wasn't cut on an angle and had to be cut and sanded to fit - same as the bay window. And the railing for the stairs was not small. In addition, all parts of the house can be easily combined with each other. The material provided for some internal components was disproportionate.
