Super cute set but I didn't get what I ordered! I didn't want to issue a refund in case I make a mistake again. Anyway, I enjoyed the assembly and the instructions were easy to follow!

The shadow block does not have 45 degree angles, so the frame will not fit. Parts for the shelf are crooked and the set is not 1:12. I may be able to use the parts for other projects, but I will not be purchasing any more of these kits.

Nice idea. I like that you can hang it on the wall. The hinges for the door were very difficult to make. There must be pre-drilled holes or something. Also, I had to glue a hook on the back because the hanger hole was bigger than the screw and again it was difficult to put the screws in.

I had a great time taking this 'picture'. It's the perfect mix of small, awkward things and big things that are easier to make. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Plus, the end result is so much fun and so satisfying. (I had a very small issue. Part was damaged in shipping/packaging. I emailed the address on the instructions and received a very quick response with excellent service.)

I chose the Warm Dawn miniature set for my first miniature creation after I got an idea from a video of someone assembling a dollhouse kit. I liked that this kit was small as I wasn't sure I could make it. I also like that the final product doesn't take up much space and can even be hung on the wall (where no one will walk past to bump into it).
