This is exactly what I've been needing for years. Our big dog makes a huge mess around his bowl with slobber, water, food, etc. I had a smaller rubber mat, and a ridged tray like mat in the past. Both of those were not only not big enough but left an unsightly mess on the tray/mat area. The texture on this really picks up and disguises any water/slobber, whatever until you can rinse it off outside with the hose. Perfect.

Exactly what I was looking for, will definitely help keep the area around my pups dish and water bowl tidy. May not hold up well after repeated washings.

This product did a great job catching all the water that was spilled by my messy drinking pups but they have managed to tear it to shreds in the center. Not sure if this is just because I do have a puppy that got curious or if it is because of the product itself.

These are nice and thick, but very pliable.so many other uses for this item. But a great food mat. We have a dog that loves to "carry" a mouthful of kibble out of her dish. This is a great size to control that. Heartily recommend!

The mats were returned. I home cook my dogs meals and it would be impossible to clean the food out of all the bazillions of open spaces. These would possibly work with kibble though.

I really like the mat. I had a large tray under the dogs water dish and my youngest dog likes to try and drag the tray and water dish off, plus she has a habit of letting the water run out of her mouth, making a mess. My son suggested I purchase this and get rid of the tray. She can't move the mat and the water dish stays put. It's really well made and absorbent.

Even though my dog is not that big he manages to splash water all over the floor. I was looking for a mat to protect my floor and so far this mat is doing the job. It stays in place and it is easy to clean. I got the coffee color and I love it.

This product is junk we have two young dogs that chewed a hole in it in the time of just running to the bathroom. This product is not for dog owners. This Mat also claims to be water proof. But in the short time the mat did not have a hole in it a water dish was spilled and it acted like every other rug on the market it was soaked.

maybe this would be perfect for calm petsI left my dog alone for 15 minutes and when I came back the mat was totally destroyed it rips really easy.
