They fit well and are a lot cheaper than big brands. I can't tell if they are real HEPA filters but I ordered them a second time because I was happy with them. Our dog sheds a lot. Ideally we would comb and vacuum our dog every day, but we don't always do that. These filters visibly reduce dandruff and room odor.

They are just as good as Lovit brand HEPA replacement filters but at a better price. I reluctantly decided to try this filter and am now purchasing a twin pack. Same simple setup. Comes with no instructions but is very easy to install. You always have to go online to check the instruction manual on how to reset the damn filter light. Otherwise I highly recommend it.

I did extensive research so I bought both filters to compare. I unpacked it and left, having trouble distinguishing which was the Levoit brand. I noticed that one filter was heavier and assumed it was a branded Levoit filter that costs $11 more ($36 vs $25 for the generic Flintar). Had not! The flint filter looks just as good and is actually heavier than the Levoit. Maybe it has more carbon on the inner layer. Waste of money. It fits perfectly but the airflow is definitely not the same as the OEM filter. After using this filter for over a month it just doesn't clean the air like the OEM does. It seems too restrictive and makes the fan noise louder. I had to clean (vacuum) the OEM pre-filter about every week or so because it picked up so much dirt. The biggest concern with replacing a third party filter is that it will fit and not add extra work to the machine. This filter fits snugly onto the Levoit, which is important for its original functionality (improper fit means particles will pass through the filter and render the machine virtually useless). Also, although the fabric is slightly different from the original part, this filter appears as if the machine is not drawing too much air (which will wear out your machine faster). In…
