This 4 inch exhaust tip fits the back of my 99 Mustang GT really really well. I was a little apprehensive about my Mustang's cutouts, but they were perfect. Feel free to install this or any other 4 inch tip on your 99-04 Mustang.

I have a pair of these along with an APR exhaust on my 2018 VW GTI. They look amazing and I love the ruffled lace look. I hope they stay, the clamp seems a bit weak and the clamp like the APR would be better. Also, the supplied screws are weak and I have replaced them with better screws. Stripped a screw during installation. I will update in a few months.
