Scratches, scratches, everywhere

fading LED bulbs. The problem is that they were covered in scratches. I ordered another set hoping I just got a bad batch but the second set is also covered in scratches. This isn't usually a big deal as most bulbs are at least somewhat hidden within the fixture, but the whole point of those bulbs should be visible. Mine are clearly visible in the mount hanging at eye level above my kitchen table so I can see the scratches. I'll probably send them back and try another brand as it's driving meโ€ฆ

Expensive but beautiful: light bulbs

This is certainly not the cheapest option, but very much so Nice. The filament and glass body are very visually appealing in a hallway pendant light (both day and night). I can't say anything about the dimming as it's on a standard switch. The color of the light is 2700K soft light and the output power is the equivalent of 40W as advertised. Only time will tell how long they last. Since this light is not used daily, I hope they outlive me. I only need 4 but I bought a 6 pack just in case as Iโ€ฆ

Looks good, works badly, look elsewhere

I ordered 6 bulbs in April 2020. When they arrived I installed all six lamps. There are three lightbulbs installed in the bathroom and three lightbulbs in the kitchen. Here is a summary of my experience: 1. Two lightbulbs (one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen) blink for a few minutes after being turned on. It started on day one and continues to this day.
