My RES lives in a 20 gallon aquarium with a Tetra reptile filter 25845. She has outgrown the filter and now the filter can't suck up all of her waste. I read the reviews on here about this product and thought I would give it a try as it is also an all natural product. I poured two capfuls into her tank one morning and when I got home from work I noticed that her excrement was almost gone. The next morning her tank was completely clean. I had my doubts about this product but now I'm amazed!

I really like this product. My daughter has a turtle and a boy can get dirty and smelly quickly. This is a great product to reduce the waste that makes a turtle cage very smelly. I am so glad I found this product. We've been using it for about a year and this is one of the best products I could find. I couldn't live without these things! A cap a week keeps my tank crystal clear and odor free! I ran out of this waste remover for about two weeks and noticed a change in my water almost immediately. Despite all the great reviews, I was very reluctant to buy it and had very low expectations. Not sure how it works, but it SIGNIFICANTLY reduces waste on our little red-eared turtles. We put it in the water 2 days after cleaning the tank and there was already some turtle droppings on the bottom. It took several days for this initial waste to dissipate. but it happened. This basically turned my water a brackish brown (it was still clear, but with a very obvious "brownish" tint. Also, brown goo started to form all over the place. There was a brown goo on my air stones I did a 75% water change a week after I made it clear It was ok after the water change I did some research on aquariums If not I figured this product would break down any waste between cleanings but whatever it did, the opposite water was brown and brown slime formed in some places.

Okay, listen, listen to me. Despite all the pretty decent reviews, I still didn't know if I wanted to trust this one. However, this was the best purchase I have ever made for my tank.
