Price Quality - Aquarium Lights

I have a Chinese Cave Gecko and I wanted him to be comfortable in the habitat I created. I know they don't bother with bright lights so I bought him and he seems to love it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not happy with everything

An absolute joke, suitable for fish and aquatic animals

I bought two of these. The first lasted about 3 weeks and the second lasted 2 hours. The quality of these lamps is completely inadequate. Save money and buy another brand.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Little things

Died after 1 week in Aquarium Light

Bought from my ball python habit and it died after 1 week. I usually buy the same ones from Petsmart and they last up to 6 months. Either defective or sold used as new. boom

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Non automatic

Maybe defective? for fish and aquatic animals

I don't know if it's normal or not, but it got so hot (burns for about an hour) that we couldn't even touch the base it was in . We have been using a different brand for many years and never encountered this problem (same performance).

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Some insects

All heat without light is best in aquarium lamps

I have tried these two lamps and they both heat but ZERO I repeat ZERO light! I was hoping to get at least something as bright as natural moonlight, no, total darkness. If you want warmth and complete darkness, just buy a ceramic heater.

Pros
  • Few competitors

Disappointing. for fish and aquatic animals

Does not work. I took it out, put it in the lamp, turned it on and at first didn't even think it was on. I turned the lamp over to inspect and saw a VERY dull purple tint to the element. I brought my hand to him and I had to be 2-3 inches to feel warm. I am not happy. spend 10 dollars.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Useless functions

I was not satisfied with this product 2 light bulbs glowed differently, one bright and one very dim. I also thought they were black pears, this shouldn't be stated on the label. They warm well, but not as warm as in reptiles. Overall pretty weak.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Everything OK

Note that I have a used one.

You can try to order more. Not sure. I definitely have a bad one. The packaging is torn, but the bulb is not broken. I took it out of the box and it was dirty as needed, the metal on the bulb was almost rusty, and then I shook it and it rang. I won't even try to put it in my heating pad. Very disappointed, like mine :(

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I'm writing this review because I hope someone from the company will read and test the lamp I bought before sending it to me. As another person wrote in their review, they hit or miss. I'm rescuing garter snakes and they can't handle higher heat lamps like larger snakes. Depending on the subspecies and climate in the area where garters originally roamed in the wild, each subspecies prefers different temperatures in their enclosures. I have a snake that only likes blue or black light and can…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Minor issues
