🐠 Fluval Sea Mini Protein Skimmer for 5-10 Gallon Tanks - Black (14324) Review

This skimmer works, but for many people it's almost impossible to set up properly and keep it there. I've helped hundreds of people try and set it up. The Aquatic Life 115 Skimmer has the exact same body but a different collection cup and air intake and works perfectly. It fits camera 1 Fluval Sea Evo 13.5 and works great there.

I was pleased that this skimmer was a perfect match for my 13.5 gallon Fluval Evo tank. However, it never worked properly, created poor flow. However, it is very quiet. Worst of all, it stopped working completely, didn't notice it right away because it's so quiet. The flow of water through the second and third chambers is disturbed. Lost almost all of my fish. The return was easy. Would NOT buy again.

Skimmer never worked. At first I thought I didn't know how to use it properly. A few months later I tried using it again following the directions and letting it work for at least 1 week but nothing, it didn't work. Now, after trying again, I can say that the product must be defective. I didn't send it back in time because I wasn't sure if it was me not knowing how to operate it or some other problem. My €60 went in the trash. I will buy another skimmer.

Fluval - Extremely disappointed with this skimmer. Usually you have the best products and this one is horribly designed, doesn't even match. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and traded you for another - EXACTLY THE SAME problems. The air hose hole doesn't fit the hose, the top falls off and leaks into my nano tank and it doesn't fit the Fluval 13.5 with no support. The skimmer is very picky about the water level. I had to add a line of tape on my back chamber to mark the correct water level. I also had to add color to one side of the water level dial so I could tell if I was turning it up or down because the knob rotates 360 degrees and I couldn't tell the setting otherwise.
