Not wood, plastic! in stands

No wood at all, all plastic. Sturdy plastic, but still plastic. Legs are not adjustable. I'll probably keep it because it's strong and I really need it now, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Sturdy and perfect size

This is a great lap table. It's just the right size for bed work. It's big enough to support an iPad Pro or laptop, but not too big. I like that the small part doesn't tip, so you can hold a spill-proof mug or mouse. The legs are thick and the top feels solid. Great article.

Looks good, works flat

I love how this black metal and faux wood tray looks. Unfortunately it rolls forward on my bed when I try to use the corners. I find it works best on a hard surface. As long as you use it while sitting on the floor or on a hard bed, it works great as a desk. The problem for me seems to be the crooked sides.
