✨ FolkArt Silver Extreme Glitter Acrylic Paint - Assorted Colors, 2 oz (2787) Review

This is a transparent color with glitter. It will remain white and smell of elm glue, when it dries you will still see the base color but it will have a sheen. Multiple layers give more shine, the main color remains visible. If you are looking for silver color this is not the product, if you are looking for silver glitter this will do.

I bought the black paint and decided it would just be black acrylic paint with glitter. no This material is pure and cannot hide anything. In my case I applied 2 coats of matte black first and then added this. It comes grey-blue out of the bottle, but when you apply it turns colorless. This is a great product if you know what to expect, but for me it came as a bit of a shock.

I wasn't quite sure about this color as I bought the pink color of the dragee and it took me about 9 coats to actually get the color on the stone I painted but this one only took 3 coats and the glitter paint really works, they're like blue and a bit of red but I think it goes well with light purple! Love this brand too, it's my second color of them with added glitter and I'm still impressed!

I see more green glitter than other colors. I think the creator decided to add more of these than other colors, who knows. Either way when it's open it looks white but when painted onto something it creates a glitter effect. Here, too, the greenish shimmer seems to me to outweigh the rest. But it can be different than someone else's. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

Used to create gold stars and moons for Gender Reveal Command Insignia. I made the mistake of placing it on RED construction paper! It took several shifts to get the gold. I then tried lighter colored paper and it still took a few coats before it got a bit of a golden color. But the glitter is great. The paint smell was weird, like Pepto-Bismol. This shiny color is AMAZING! This is the coolest thing! I literally painted plain ugly cardboard with this extremely shiny gold paint and it completely transformed the cardboard. I used a foam brush and (later) a bristle brush - both brushes did the job, but the bristle brush was more effective as it doesn't absorb or hold as much paint (and therefore waste). This material will first turn white when you paint it (similar to how you paint with Elmer's glue) and then turn gold as it dries. A coat

I live this color with glitter but it's not quite what I expected. I was expecting/hoping for a more prismatic color than silver... some sort of glitter that shimmers in different colors and not just silver. especially since there is colorful glitter on the bottle itself. (You can see this in my flash photo.) I was also hoping it would be MORE glittery. but I believe that only in my dreams is there color that is pure luster and does not show through at all. On my little terracotta pot I applied
