I used this paint on my kitchen cupboards as a base coat and it went on really nice made an excellent base coat.I have since used it on other pieces of furniture as base coat but I know you can use this as the main color but you will have to use a sealer over it.A little goes a long way, the 32 oz did all my bottom cupboards leaving 1/2 of the paint left I then use it on a book case and a large tv stand/cupboard and I still have some left. Great value.

I purchased this product in a pinch and thought I would give it a try. To my surprise I really like it! I have painted several pieces of furniture in this and love the results. It goes on smooth without clumping and give the matte look I was hoping for. For the price this is a great alternative to the more expensive versions of chalk paint! Worth a try for sure. Will purchase it again in other colors down the road!

Painted my sons bookshelves with this. Way cheaper than the stuff we bought at Lowe’s (was around $35 for a quart) and works just as good.His shelves are about 8’ x 3’, I was able to do two coats on both of them with some extra.

Good paint. Not good when you get only 3/4 of the paint. Because it was all over the box! Who the heck puts this is the package? 1. Learn to tighten the lid, 2. put in a bag, 3. Put some packaging so it doesn’t bounce around! If I didn’t need it so bad, I would have sent it back!

When I received the Folk Art Sheepskin chalk paint and opened the box, paint had leaked out due to a broken seal under the lid. The lid was also not screwed on securely. There was paint on the inside of the box.

This is top quality and I will continue to buy this brand. The price is great and it looks perfect. I have painted my entire inside of RV with it and many materials I painted on are, leather, wood, metal and plastic.all worked perfect.

1st order came with the seal already half open. No paint spilled in box, but crusty on the lid and not completely full, like its already been used by someone. Ordered a replacement and received this busted paint mess. Really disappointed since I've delayed my project 5 days now waiting on this paint.

The lid was not tight and paint leaked out. I like FolkArt chalk paint but when you order a new product it would be nice to get the full amount. Please in the future check your lids to ensure they are tight and wrap them in a plastic or put them in a bag.

So happy that I gave this chalk paint a try. It is top notch and cheaper than than a lot of the brand names out there. It goes on smooth and goes a long way. Have already ordered more!

Folk art is great quality. I’ve used this paint for crafts and for furniture, both wood and upholstered. In stores it cost about $10 for 8 oz. and her you get 4 times as much!
