Fondant Butterfly Non Stick Silicone Decorating Review

I bought this to use in fondant but wanted to use the flowers as a decoration for the tray and the detailing was fantastic!

You have to be careful, the molds are small and stick easily. But it's nice when they come out the way they should be. I've found that if you take a very small amount of cooking spray and cover the molds, they pop right out! Try it, it works!

Less than I expected. I tried to make royal icing decorations but it didn't work. Maybe I'm not very experienced with it. On the other hand, my daughters love them, they use plasticine and the shapes come out great.

These are perfect for various soaps I'm working on. When I first opened the package I had a little collapse and thought an entire mold was missing but it was right under another mold of the same size lol... good sizes for my needs but they are tiny so pay attention to the size when buying! I see so many comments on things like this from people complaining about the size when all they had to do was read the description! The price was great too!

I bought these for epoxy casting and my only complaint is that it's difficult to pour roses and get something done and feels strong , but I don't. I don't think it's a lack of form, but rather a combination of subtle form and a little inexperience on my part. Everything else worked great on the first try. Butterfly castings are thin (like a butterfly) and therefore quite malleable. I think with more care and practice I can make the roses work the way I expect, I just think they are complex…
