PackFreshUSA: Food Grade 500cc Oxygen Absorber Packs for Long-Term Food Storage Review

Garbage. 4 out of 12 didn't activate. After 1 week, I had to reopen and add more. Then 1 had to be done AGAIN! I won't buy from this seller again.

I have a freeze drier and these oxygen absorbents are a necessity for long term storage. I have used this product before with great results. Unfortunately, this last package had an odd reaction (much like the hand warmers one uses in their mittens/gloves/pockets), whereby they became very warm after opening the sealed package. i am afraid to use them with my dried food for storage. what is the problem?

Bought these for homemade jerky that was molding after about a week.these seem to do the job! Hasn't molded while using these packs.

These oxygen absorbers work great for sealing up my rice and dry beans in Mylar bags and Gamma Seal buckets for longer term storage.

Good stuff. Note these are 500cc, which may be to small or to large for your appliction. We use these in the gallon mylar bag and one quart jar.Prep on folks!

I ordered 2 packages and one package of absorbers did not function properly. By the time I realized that there was a problem,, I had already used the oxygen absorbers in many jars. A very expensive mistake. I have used another brand before this one and will go back to it.

I've must have gone thru at least 1200 of these and still buying more. Use them when I freeze dry my food started using these two years ago and still going strong. Packfresh service is great and the ship out fast. Never had a problem with the product or the company and will be buy again when need.

Product came in vacuum sealed bag, the chart that came with them was helpful in knowing how many to use. Do they work in vacuum sealed bag? I dont know yet I can let you know in a year or two.

Great price. Well packaged. I like that the 100 absorbers are packaged in smaller units. I appreciated the information provided by the mfg.

I am a regular customer of Fresh pack, their products are always top shelf! Don't bother with any other oxy's, customer service is excellent!

First, I highly recommend PackFreshUSA Mylar bags and Oxygen absorbers of any size. The 500cc packets are just the ticket when storing flour, cake mixs, bisquick etc which require more absorbent.

These are packaged so that once you open them, they are all exposed to air and loose their potency. I wish I could buy them packaged in smaller numbers.

I received the package of 500cc Oxygen Absorbsers and without opening the package I could tell they were swollen and they were hard. I assume the package they came in must not be fully sealed, because others I have received in the past from other distributors were not hard or swollen. Hopefully I can return them for credit.

They arrived quickly and do what they are supposed to do. I cannot say that about too many things these days. I recommend.
