My 80 year old very active aunt had a total hip replacement. Her biggest problem was that she couldn't bend down to wash her feet. She is so excited about this product as is her physical therapy expert who is now recommending it to her other patients.

We bought these for our father who is 91 years old. He didn't wash his feet properly, but now he does. He even called us to say thank you for the purchase. I then decided to buy them for my husband who has difficulty bending over due to back surgery. He said they really clean your feet.

This seemed to be a much more elaborate construction than the hard rubber version with short lugs and uncomfortable ribs that I had previously bought. The top and bottom brushes are well spaced and provide just enough abrasion to be used for cleaning. The bristles aren't as stiff or hard as a dish brush for example, but a lot stiffer than some others, overall this seems like a good level of hardness for brushes. Pros: I like the top toe cleaning bristles Cons: They're really big and I can't tell you how many times I've kicked them because they take up so much space that the bristles on the footpad were perfectly flat after only using it twice, the base is super hard plastic so when you kick it. It hurts very much!

This is one of those items that seems like a good idea at the time but is rarely used after that. Works great when used on a smooth surface. Unfortunately the floor in my grandfather's shower is textured so the suction doesn't work. He may have used it twice, but he just prefers to sit and rub his legs the old-fashioned way, he said.

I was hoping this would make showering easier for my kids and I but no such luck. They won't stay where you put suction cups and the bristles aren't the best.
