These StaSoft gloves really are the best of both worlds. Very soft and very durable. Don't listen to stories about these gloves not being durable; If you get holes in these gloves after a few uses, the glove is not the problem (sorry). This glove was near perfect. I was so excited after my first tee shot. The feel and grip of this glove was top notch, no other glove felt like it. But unfortunately the skin started tearing towards the end of my first lap. By the end of my second round, the glove was useless. Thinking I might have gotten a bad glove I bought another one and was again disappointed with the durability. I have 1.5 from the second glove. Wow the quality of FootJoy products has gone down. I play a lot of golf in the south so I use at least one glove a week in the summer.
