The unit I received didn't have all the latches snapping into the computer. The shape or size of the plastic case may not be correct. (Defective device?) Comes with a keyboard case. I probably won't use it because I like the feel of the keys, but a nice silicone keyboard case with a cool design sits well on the keys. The plastic itself is tough - not sure how well it takes a hit, and the case is smoother than I'd like, allowing for more slides.

I really like this product. The color is exactly the same as pictured and it's still clear enough to show the decals. love love love!

Step 2 of product installation guide is misleading, it says "attach 2 clips to top of cover". There are actually 3 clips attached to the top of the screen. There are 2 clips on the underside of the lid. If you attach the lid upside down, the position of the two outer clips when opening and closing will interfere with the hinge and cause a click. Overall I think this is a decent protective case for my MacBook Pro. Looks pretty good, although the clear top cover seems to scratch relatively easily, but at least the cover is scratched, not my MacBook. The case fits and although it is labeled 'heavy' I would say otherwise. The caution sticker is attached because the bottom rear bracket prevents the screen from opening fully and can put pressure on the screen.

I bought this laptop bag to replace an old broken one I've had for years. This case is much better made as the four corners are made of thicker plastic for better protection. The bottom has many ventilation holes to keep the laptop cool. There are also small "legs" that also add some height to the computer and help with cooling and ventilation. Fits perfectly on my MBP although the instructions could be clearer. I had to try again because the clamps were hard to catch and they were tight (which is good). The only other comment is that repeated removal wears down the clamps and the fold out tilt legs are a bit brittle and can break off if you're not careful. Make sure the top half of the case (lid) is snapped into place so that the edge closest to the hinge only has TWO tabs. THREE tabs slide up (along the top edge of the screen when the lid is open).
