Inaccurate or consistent

I may have gotten a bad reading, but based on my experience I don't think this is a reliable reading. My teenage daughter almost always sees 101.x. Scared me the first time but 3 oral thermometers confirmed 98.x. My youngest son, wife and I sometimes see accurate readings but in a minute he reads 100+ wrong. No rhyme or reason for contradiction.

easy to use but does not appear to be accurate

This thermometer arrived earlier than expected. It was very easy to use. When checked with a digital oral thermometer and an infrared ear thermometer, the readings were FALSE. At first I thought it was accurate, so I'm not sure if this thermometer will stop working properly in less than two months since I bought it. It currently runs more than two degrees Fahrenheit lower than other thermometers.

We just received this. This appears to be a new product so thought I'd add a review to help others. It seems to work great for both me and my husband. Read the instructions: The device should be aimed at the forehead, between the eyebrows and just above the level of the eyebrows. Not anywhere else.
