Fits perfectly on my 4 1/2" angle grinder. Great for cleaning parts. The knotted type is too even and stiff for some jobs, it has a bit of a kink or crease. Works great. Using in my 4 1/2" Milwakee Grinder was the biggest problem I had.

I used this to repair a large log railing with a 4 inch angle grinder. I tried 4 different sizes and 3 brands of wire cup brushes. They all did an impressive job of quickly removing old weathered wood and leaving a beautiful finish before painting or staining. I have tried 3, 3.5, 4 and 5 inch brushes. Strong, heavy, well built wire pot. To avoid chemicals I bought it to remove paint from concrete but it didn't work as well as I had hoped. Therefore 4 stars. Pros: Sturdy and well-built wire brush. It will probably work well for removing old peeling paint from wood. Big size for more coverage in less time. Threaded, so it's designed to attach to a grinder, not a drill.
