I used one of these to connect a DirecTV receiver to a wall mounted TV where the 10ft cable was too short. After installing this 15 foot cable, I had intermittent issues with dropouts. By shaking the cable connector at one end, the image appeared and disappeared. I swapped the cable at both ends but the problem returned.
