Description of FOSTAR Ferrocerium Emergency Starters Paracord

This premium ferrocerium rod is made from mischmetal, provided a consistent shower of sparks. The ferro rods performs well and is a very convenient size for a paracord survival bracelet or paracord necklace. It can be incorporated in a bushcraft knife sheath or in a firemaking kit. Zipper on jackets or bags. Even your shoe laces. These ferro rods are very small, weigh nearly nothing and are easily integrated into your gears. It’s difficult to control, and more practice is needed before actual use, better as a back-up than primary rod. Product specifications: Length: 26mm, Diameter of the rod: 8mm, Diameter of the hole: 4mm, Quantity: 6PCS.

Amazing Firestarter for Outdoor Adventures

Based on my observations this firestarter is amazing for camping and hiking. It`s lightweight and the paracord makes it easy to keep it handy at all times. The ferrocerium sparks easily and works even in wet conditions. The only downside is that it takes some practice to get the hang of using it effectively. OVERALL, i highly recommend this firestarter for any outdoor enthusiast..

Pros
  • Reliable and easy-to-use starter for fires in emergency situations.
Cons
  • Requires practice and skill to use effectively, potentially leading to frustration or wasted resources in a high-pressure situation.

They really need to be close to your stuff as they don't give off as much spark as a big rod. After hearing from someone who managed to lose their iron bar at the wrong time, I figured it would be excellent to add laces to the bottom of the shoe as you are unlikely to lose the shoe. On any shoe or…
