Considering the high cost of razors, this product from Foster and Lake is a kind of product to extend the life of your razor. Stops rust on blades and keeps my razors sharp. I just dip it in aftershave and rinse with hot water before using again. Very happy with my purchase

This makes my blade very greasy/slimy but doesn't seem to really increase blade life. I find I still need to replace them about as often. Shaving a little more closely will prolong the life of your razor blades much more effectively.
