I have 7" lightbulbs and need help with light diffusion when shooting video to reduce glare and ensure even light distribution. These socks are perfect and wearable. They fit great and it's one less bulky item to worry about storing. Great addition to my lighting gear.

I shoot desktop miniatures. My pictures came out. Just not great? Excessively yellow, although my light wasn't THAT warm. These simple things made a big difference in light scattering. The difference is striking! I'm not a professional so I don't use fancy lighting fixtures - just a hinged clip on IKEA table lamps and regular incandescent bulbs.

I have over 300 LEDs that I use on my camcorder when I shoot weddings. The light is a bit harsh, like LEDs, so I included them to mitigate the situation. You are more important than I thought. My light range has decreased significantly, but with much less glare. I just turn the light up to a higher brightness and it looks way better. The quality is a bit cheap so we'll see how long they last.

We purchased these two lamps which diffuse the light from a pair of homemade lamps my wife made for her desk. We should have zoom meetings. But they don't dissolve as well as I think. But overall I can't complain for a $9 pair of diffusers. NOTE: These headlights are definitely for CONSUMERS. So I didn't buy them to use with PROFESSIONAL level photography or lighting equipment.

This is normal. They're like shower caps. I use them for work lamps. Another reviewer mentioned that the fabric of the sock comes into contact with the lightbulb and the contact will turn brown over time (which is also a potential fire hazard). It's great! I've used them on some simple clip on lights from the hardware store, one is 6" with a standard bulb, I had to secure the excess with a small clip but it works the same way. The other is stretched to the limit of 10 or 12 inches. A brood lamp with a flood lamp installed. They are used as face lights for my streaming camera setup (Sony a6000 > elgato hd60 pro) and give me nice soft shadows and really help reduce eye strain.
